The lovely ring announcer Asia is in the ring ready to begin the match as referee Jack Grant stands right next to her. Snot Booger McGee is also already in the ring.
Asia: “The following contest is a tag team match set for one fall! Introducing first, in the ring from No where, Texas weighing in at 434lbs Snot Booger McGee!”
The fans chant for McGee when the distinctive jingling of coins, cash registers and fruit machine reels precede the baseline of "Money" by the legendary Pink Floyd. Teddy steps out onto the stage ramp in one of his many colorful, four-thousand dollar, three piece suits - unless wrestling - in which case he enters in full leotard apparel.
Asia: “And his tag team partner; from Reno, Nevada weighing in at 320lbs Teddy Gamble!”
He pulls an unlit cigar from behind his ear and places it in his mouth before slowly power-walking down to the ring and ascending the steel steps with exaggerated stomps, resembling Messrs McMahon and Trump. He brushes his feet on the ring apron and, using his strength to lower the top rope, enters by stepping over it. He turns with his arms elevated above his head once in the ring to a chorus of boos.
Bret Gamble:: “These fans, for some reason love Snot Booger McGee.”
Alex Cash: “What’s not to love about him? He’s a really nice guy.”
Bret Gamble: “Well, he’s ugly… also, I’m totally suing Teddy for stealing my last name!”
“A Kiss Goodnight” by Ross Ariffin plays over the PA System as lights go out and a spotlight appears on the ramp. Damien emerges, and the crowd goes silent at the sheer sight of this behemoth of a man.
Asia: “And their opponents, first; from Parts Unknown weighing in at 302lbs… DAMIEN!”
Damien walks menacingly to the ring, keeping his eyes on the ring as the spotlight stays on him. As he’s about to enter the ring, the powerful guitar plays over the arena as the lights go out and the entrance tunnel flickers golden lights as "Pound of Flesh" continues playing. The crowd goes to a roar of boos as from behind the tunnel curtains walks Bryan Kennedy with "The Glitch Known As" Defecto slowly pacing behind, the NLW Nevada State Championship resting on his shoulder.
Asia: “And his partner; from Tijuana weighing in at 195lbs… He is the current NLW Nevada State Champion, ‘The Glitch’ Defecto!”
Bryan stops at the bottom of the ramp and steps aside as Defecto takes a stance, throws his head to the skies, and lets out a geyzer of mist colored in a deep black. He then looks back to the ring and walks down the ramp as Bryan leads the way. Bryan makes it to the ring first, and gets onto the apron courtesy of the ropes as he sits on the apron for his client. Defecto enters the ring through said ropes and continues to the turnbuckles, mounting them with the fans booing. He looks the fans over, not really caring what they think before raising the championship high in the sky. Putting the title back down, he steps off of the turnbuckle and goes to his corner and waits as his music stops.
Alex Cash: “This match is a very interesting one, because just last week both teams were facing their respective partners. And now, just a week later, they have to work together to get a victory.”
Bret Gamble: “This is also special because Defecto is the biggest target in NLW at the current time. How can he trust Damien not to destroy him?”
Referee Jack Grant grabs the championship from Defecto, and hands it off to the near by ring attendant. The two teams begin to converse on who’s going to start the match as Asia leaves, and then the ref calls for the bell.
DING! DING!
Alex Cash: “Well there’s the bell ladies and gentlemen, and this one is underway!”
After the sound of the bell, Teddy Gamble has left the ring to the apron allowing McGee to start for their match while Defecto has done the same for his team leaving Damien to start the match. The two competitors walk around the ring, before McGee offers a hug to Damien, which Damien looks confused about. The fans begin to chant “HUG! HUG! HUG! HUG!” as Damien and McGee look around at the fans as they cheer. Damien shrugs and goes in for a hug. Only, this isn’t a typical hug as the two men are battling to see who can lock in a bear hug first. With his raw, unmatched power, Damien manages to lift McGee up and slam him down to the mat and the crowd boos him for it, but he doesn’t care. Damien then goes and picks McGee up by his bald head before delivering a headbutt to the skull of the fun loving Snot Booger McGee. As the booing continues Damien runs off of the ropes and delivers a running knee drop to the face of McGee, following it up with a blatant choke as the ref comes to command a break.
Alex Cash: “Damien getting a little dirty already as we get this match underway.”
Referee J. Grant: “Come on Damien, let him go! 1…. 2…. 3…. 4!”
Surprisingly, the hold is broken up when Defecto decides to come in and pull the monster off of their opponent. Damien and Defecto look at each other, as if chaos is about to erupt as Defecto begins yelling at Damien that he almost cost them the match before heading back out to the apron. McGee, struggling to get to his feet, is suddenly grabbed by Damien who pulls him in for another bear-hug into a suplex in the middle of the ring. Grabbing McGee’s arm, Damien begins to wrench it when Defecto demands the Damien tag him in. Reluctantly, Damien tags his partner and holds the arm there as Defecto comes off the top rope with an axe handle to the elbow before wrenching it himself. Defecto tries to whip the big man off the ropes, but to no avail as McGee pulls him back in and delivers a big body block to Defecto.
Bret Gamble:: “Snot Booger McGee just ran right over the Nevada State Champion! Can you believe the intensity behind that move?”
Alex Cash: “And now these fans are laughing it up with him!”
As McGee begins clapping and celebrating in the middle of the ring, to the fans delight, Defecto powders over towards Damien and tags out. Defecto goes to the outside floor, and tells Damien to get in there while he and Bryan build up their new game plan on the outside.
Bret Gamble:: “Has Defecto gotten over that fear of being eaten?”
Alex Cash: “I’m not entirely sure, but it does look like he’s very content in letting Damien do all of the dirty work here tonight!”
Damien gets back into the ring and the two big men circle around once more, only this time the two lock into a collar-and-elbow tie up as they struggle for dominance in the middle of the ring. Damien gains the upper hand as backs McGee into a corner, however he doesn’t realize it’s enemy territory and Teddy tags himself in.
Alex Cash: “A blind tag now by Teddy, very smart move!”
Bret Gamble:: “I said the same about your wife last night, Alex.”
Coming into the ring, Teddy delivers a hard shot to the ribs of Damien so he breaks his hold on McGee. Grabbing Damien, Teddy pulls his opponent in for a side headlock, which is then turned into a takeover before Teddy locks in a grounded headlock.
Bret Gamble:: “Well that name stealer has a tight headlock in on the beast, Damien.”
Damien, now off of his feet, is trying to use his pure bear like strength to muscle out of the hold and to his feet, but Teddy still has the headlock on tight. Damien uses what he can to back Teddy into the ropes, and whips him off. He then catches Teddy on the rebound with a running clothesline and hooks the leg for the pin, but Referee Jack Grant is telling Damien that he had been tagged by his partner Defecto.
Alex Cash: “I can’t exactly blame Defecto back there, he had to make a decision. But now that decision is causing the ref to be distracted.”
Bret Gamble:: “I don’t think any of that matters to Defecto right now, Alex.”
Damien and the referee are busy arguing as Defecto comes in and starts to put the boots to Teddy, with nothing but pure intensity as he stomps away. The crowd boos actions of their current Nevada State Champion as he takes the time to stop and pose while his opponent is feeling the affects of the boots.
Alex Cash: “There ferocious stomps by Defecto are doing massive damage to Teddy Gamble, Brett.”
Jack Grant warns Defecto about the excessive celebrating which causes the Lucha to brush him aside as he goes back to work on Teddy, who has made it to the bottom rope. Using his foot to step on him, and the top rope for extra leverage, Defecto breaks the hold after the ref reaches 3 only to jump high into the air and come down with a vicious stomp across the skull of Teddy. Fans in the crowd begin telling Defecto he cheated, to which Defecto only picks Teddy up and sends him to the outside floor in front of them and taunts while Jack Grant begins his count.
Referee J. Grant: “1…. 2…. 3…. 4….”
Defecto has gone behind the referee and exited the ring, before coming around the ring post and delivering a running knee to Teddy on the outside floor, with a thunderous shot rippling throughout the arena. Defecto then picks Teddy up and rolls him back into the ring and goes for a quick cover.
Alex Cash: “Did you hear that shot? He could’ve taken his head off!”
Referee J. Grant: “1…”
Teddy easily powers out of the pin, before the two count and Defecto takes the time to tag out once more. Damien looks at Defecto and shakes his head before entering back into the ring. Damien and Teddy look at each other and circle up before locking horns in the center of the ring. Using his brains, Teddy delivers a quick knee t the gut of Damien, and follows it up with a measured right hand shot sending the big man wobbling on his feet. Teddy hits him with a second right hand, followed by a third before running off of the ropes. As he’s coming back, Damien delivers a powerful crossbody block and goes for the pin.
Referee J. Grant: “1…. 2….”
Teddy is saved by Snot Booger McGee who breaks the pin and celebrates about it before exiting the ring. However, as he turns back around, Damien gets up and blasts him with a big boot that sends him flying into the barricade. Defecto quickly comes in, and charges Damien, who sends him with a back body drop over the top rope and crashing onto McGee.
Alex Cash: “What team work there by these two unlikely allies!”
Bret Gamble:: “I hardly doubt that was team work, Alex. It looked to me like Defecto was going to send a message, but Damien had other plans.”
Defecto gets back up and goes back to his team’s corner when Teddy gets to his feet and blasts Damien with a Forearm Club to the face. He then falls, and looks to get a tag made but Snot Booger McGee has been dropped to the outside floor. Teddy gets to his feet, and is in a fit of rage and shock. Meanwhile, Damien has managed to tag out of the match, so when Teddy turns around, he gets leveled with a another powerful running knee from Defecto. Defecto decides to go for the cover there and hooks the leg.
Referee J. Grant: “1…. 2….”
McGee was able to pull Teddy’s leg and place it on to the bottom rope.
Alex Cash: “And McGee saving this match for his team.”
Defecto can’t believe McGee was able to get back up, but he tries not to let it phase him too much as he goes to the center of the ring and holds onto his throat. Teddy gets to his feet, and quickly big boots Defecto before he can spray him with that Poison mist. Teddy falls onto Defecto and goes for a pin.
Referee J. Grant: “1…. 2….”
Damien comes into the ring and breaks up the pin. Snot Booger McGee works his way back into the ring, and charges after Damien with a clothesline. The two big men go over the top rope and onto the outside floor. Defecto looks onto the outside at the spill, when Teddy comes charging after him. Defecto ducks, and pulls down the top rope which sends Teddy to the outside as well.
Bret Gamble:: “Defecto with a wise move there, pulling down the top rope to send Teddy to the outside.”
Defecto gets back to his feet as all of the big men do the same on the outside. Defecto runs to the opposite ropes, and comes back with a single leap onto the top rope followed by a shooting star dive taking out everybody on the outside. The crowd explodes with a “Holy shit” chant while the referee, Bryan Kennedy, and the entire front row are in shock!
Damien and Defecto are the first to get back up, and upon doing so back into each other. Turning around, the two men look ready to fight when they realize they’re still in the match together. Together, the two men pick Teddy up and roll him back into the ring as Defecto follows and quickly tags in Damien. Defecto then goes for another superkick, but Teddy reverses and delivers a spinebuster. As Teddy stands up, Damien spends him around and kicks him in the gut before pulling him in and lifting him up for his Cousin Gracey power bomb. As he’s about to deliver it, Snot Booger McGee comes into the ring and pulls Teddy down to the ground. The two of them turn Damien around deliver a double team DDT to the big man. McGee goes over and takes Defecto out of the ring with him while Teddy goes for the pin.
Referee J. Grant: “1…. 2…. Hey get down!”
The referee was distracted as Bryan Kennedy hopped onto the apron and started yelling. The entire arena fills up with boos as Teddy gets to his feet. He goes to the apron and grabs Bryan by the collar of his shirt and hip tosses him into the ring.
Alex Cash: “Damn it! This match would be over by now, if that damn Bryan Kennedy wouldn’t have gotten involved!”
Bret Gamble:: “And that’s why a Defecto’s champion, Alex! Because Bryan knows what he’s doing.”
The crowd cheers as Teddy backs Bryan into a corner, where he is begging for mercy. Suddenly, Defecto comes into the ring in between them and goes to spray Teddy with his Defected Mist. However, Teddy moves out of the way and Damien gets sprayed instead.
Alex Cash: “No! He got his partner! Defecto sprayed his partner by accident!”
Defecto is in a bit of shock, and turns around to an on-coming Teddy Gamble. Defecto quickly ducks, and as Teddy turns around, he is blasted with a Super Kick. Defecto then quickly hooks the leg.
Referee J. Grant: “1…. 2…. 3!”
DING! DING!
Asia: “Here are your winners Damien and the Nevada State Champion, DEFECTO!”
Alex Cash: “Well the team of Defecto and Damien won, but I have to wonder; was the Defected Mist an accident?”
Bret Gamble:: “It sure looked like it at first, Alex. But now I’m not too sure, as Defecto doesn’t even seem to care about his partner.”
Bryan Kennedy and his client Defecto are celebrating on the ramp with the Nevada State Championship in hand as the ref checks the competitors. Damien, is in the most pain as he is seen trying to get that mist out of his eyes as the cameras go away from ringside.
