Post by "High Velocity" Jason Cruze on Jun 10, 2014 1:18:18 GMT -5
(OOC: This is actually not a very good RP on my part, but I'm needing to feel this character out along with the fact that I ended up having to throw this together at the last minute. Hope you guys enjoy it for what it is...)
Our scene opened up to the High Noon Casino which, despite the time of night, was booming. There were gamblers losing and winning money all around, but one person specifically caught our attention. He was at the Craps table. The head of the Craps table to be exact. There was a beautiful woman on either side of the star of this show, Jason Cruze, NLW’s own wrestling star. One woman was a blonde and the other was a brunette; both were bombshells though. With a shake, he cupped the di in his hands and held the cubes up to the blonde, who blew on them, then to the brunette, who blew on them again.
Jason Cruze: “Daddy needs a new pair of shoes.”
The man known as “High Velocity” in NLW tossed the di, letting them roll freely across the table. The table attendant called out “eleven” before dispensing out chips to those that won them. A loud cheer broke out around the table. Cruze was definitely the most popular person in that area. As the two dice were swiped back over to him by the attendant, he grinned at the camera lens.
“What’s up, Cruzers? Jason Cruze here, and this week is more than just another week of matches. Oh, no, don’t get me wrong. Any match is an important matter, but this week is of a special importance because No Limit Wrestling is going to be balls deep in the road to crown the first ever NLW Heavyweight Champion…”
He barely had time to finish saying those words before the blonde pressed her lips to his ear and whispered to him and sort of motioned toward the table at the same time, bringing his attention back to the Craps table that he had been neglecting to speak to the fans at home.
“Oh, excuse me a moment, guys.”
With that, he shuffled the di around in his hands. They popped around in his hands like popcorn as he allowed the two females surrounding him to blow on the dice set once more. Within a few more seconds, he was tossing the dice to the table again, leaving them to bounce off the backboard of the table. The two dice bumbled back toward them, but by this time, he had returned his attention to the camera again as the crowd around him cried out in joy. Oh, the joys of making money. It was sweet.
“In the first round, I have to face off against a man that is over 200 pounds larger than me! Do I look-”
Once again, Jason Cruze was cut off, but this time it’s by people cheering him on to throw the dice again. Truth was, Cruze wasn’t really making any money at the table, everyone else was. He was just the guy throwing the dice, and so he went through his routine of making sure both women had an opportunity to blow on the di before casting them across the table once again. This time it was a “seven” and had the crowd roaring in approval.
“As I was saying, do I look like I’m afraid of him just because of the size difference? I can’t exactly say I’m shivering in my boots because I am well-prepared for this match. I’ve been training all week and soon that training is going to pay off when I put all of NLW on warning that I am not just another Tag Team-only wrestler. I can hold my own too.”
With another roll, the surrounding people display their enthusiasm for making money as they cheer him on.
“I just can’t be stopped. I very well might be full of more win than Charlie Sheen. I hope someone’s buying drinks tonight!”
Almost immediately, someone volunteered to make sure he had his drinks that night despite the fact that Jason Cruze was only 19-years-old. His eyes stopped on the camera as he address the audience once more.
“Once I scratch and claw my way through the man that is double my size tomorrow night, I will go on to become NLW’s youngest and FIRST NLW Heavyweight Champion. Snot Booger McGee, I have no issues with you except… do you take yourself seriously? Or is this all just a game to you? I guess I’ll have to wait until Roulette to really find that out, right? That’s fine. What you will find out sooner than you’d like is that I can whip your ass. It’s nothing personal, I assure you, but want this just as bad as anyone else out there. Until Wednesday night, McGee, Cruze on…”
Another toss of the dice after having the women on the two dice. A roar of approval emanated from the crowd as Jason looked around him and nodded in approval.
“Damn, I just keep winning and winning and winning…”
With that, the scene faded to black, leaving #CruzeOn across the black screen before cutting to a commercial....

Post by Snot Booger McGee on Jun 10, 2014 10:42:10 GMT -5
Snot Booger McGee is siting at a table eating his lunch. He is a slob and has food and what ever he is drinking all over him. Miss Passion walks over to him.
Miss Passion:Sorry to bother you Snot Booger but I need to interview you. Is that cool?
Snot Booger just keeps eating and shakes his head yes.
Miss Passion: So far since you have joined the NLW you have won a singles match and lost in a tag team match.
Snot Booger keeps stuffing his face and never looks up at her.
Miss Passion:My first question is how do you feel about that?
Snot Booger keeps eating by tries to answer her.
Snot Booger McGee: I am happy but kind of sad at that same time. I won that singles match but then lost a tag team match teaming with a guy I beat. So I am kind of....
He just keeps eating.
Miss Passion: This week is the first round of the NLW Championship Tournament in which you face Jason Cruze. Your Thoughts?
Snot Booger McGee: I am excited about the fact that I am in the tournament but not happy about my opponent. Jason believes that he is so much better than me better than everyone here in the NLW. I disagree with him. I am better and at Roulette I am going to prove it.
Miss Passion: Why are you better than Jason?
Snot Booger McGee: Because I fight for the fans and he fights for himself. He tires to pretend he cares about the fans but we all know that is not the case. Jason should stick to tag team wrestling where he knows what he is doing.
Miss Passion: So you think Jason will fail as a singles wrestler?
Snot Booger McGee: Yes I do because once you start to be a tag wrestler that is all you will ever be. Jason can try and convince himself and others that he is more than a tag team guy but we all know he is that and that alone.
Miss Passion:Any thing else?
Snot Booger McGee: Nope just that this grub is awesome.
Snot Booger McGee goes back to eating as the scene fades out.
