Defecto vs Jackie Williams
The powerful guitar plays over the arena as the lights go out and the entrance tunnel flickers golden lights as "Pound of Flesh" continues playing. The crowd goes to a roar of boos as from behind the tunnel curtains walks Bryan Kennedy with "The Glitch Known As" Defecto slowly pacing behind. Bryan stops at the bottom of the ramp and steps aside as Defecto takes a stance, throws his head to the skies, and lets out a geyzer of mist colored in a deep black.
Asia: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, accompanied by Bryan Kennedy… he is the current NLW Nevada State Champion, DEFECTO!”
Defecto then looks back to the ring and walks down the ramp as Bryan leads the way. Bryan makes it to the ring first, and gets onto the apron courtesy of the ropes as he sits on the apron for his client. Defecto enters the ring through said ropes and continues to the turnbuckles, mounting them with the fans booing. He looks the fans over, not really caring what they think before jumping off and landing in the middle of the ring; turning in mid-air as he does. He goes to his corner and waits as his music stops.
Alex Cash: “Defecto, whether you love him or hate him, has been on a role lately. And as it stands, he’s the only one in NLW with an unbeaten 3 and 0 record.”
Bret Gamble: “Well just earlier this year, a streak ended… so it makes sense that a new Streak be born.”
"Out of My Way" by Seether starts up and the crowd ignites with cheers as Jackie Williams comes out from the tunnel wearing "Cajun Life 24/7" t-shirt, and of course Jackie Beads [which are really just Mardi Gras beads]. He walks down the ramp high fiving fans and gives the Jackie Beads to a female fan in the crowd before hopping onto the apron.
Asia: “And his opponent from New Orleans, Louisiana… weighing in at 220lbs; ‘High Octane’ Jackie Williams!”
He hops over the top rope and turns to the corner, jumping onto the middle turnbuckle. He raises his arms in the air, which ignites the cheers of the crowd. He hops down, and takes his shirt off getting cheers from the fans before sending his shirt into the crowd.
Alex Cash: “This young man, as part of the SR-71 Express tag team, now has a chance to make a huge impact here by stealing the show and potentially the NLW Heavyweight Championship!”
The match official, Referee Jack Grant goes and checks both men before he calls for the bell.
DING! DING!
At the sound of the bell, Jackie instantly begins to clap his hands together as the crowd gets behind him in doing so as well. Defecto hands his title off to Bryan Kennedy, who drapes it over his shoulder as he gets down off of the apron. The two men circle up to the center of the ring and look to kick this contest off with a collar-and-elbow tie up to feel out their opponent. Neither man appears to be getting that much needed upper hand, so they both break apart and back up looking at each other as they do. The two men circle around the ring once again, and just as before they enter into a tie up situation. The two men work their way around the ring, this time ending up in the corner as Jackie is on the outside. Referee Jack Grant tells the two men to break, and Defecto is the first to raise his hands. Slowly, Jackie raises his hands as well with a clean break and backs out to let Defecto get back into focus.
Alex Cash: “Clean break there by Jackie Williams, such a respectful competitor.”
Bret Gamble: “I don’t like him… he beat me in Texas Hold ‘Em the other day…”
The two men once more circle up around the ring, and just as the first two times they end up in a collar and elbow situation. This time, during their twirl around the ring, it’s Defecto that gets the upper hand and backs Jackie Williams into the corner. The referee once again calls for a clean break, and it looks like he’s going to get it as both men raise their arms high into the air. But Defecto, being the cheap shot artist he is delivers a kick right to the gut of Jackie before unloading with right hands into him. After a few of the fists, Defecto changes up his assault by stomping away on the now fallen Jackie before pressing his knee into Jackie’s throat.
Ref J. Grant: “Come on Defecto, let him out! 1…. 2…. 3…. 4!”
Alex Cash: “So much for returning the sportsmanship! This sickening act by Defecto just shows how disrespectful he truly is!”
Defecto breaks the hold and walks out of the corner with his arms raised high into the sky as the crowd boos him for his actions. Dropping his arms, and turning back towards Jackie, he walks over and picks Williams back up into the corner before delivering a thunderous Knife Edge Chop, followed by two more; getting that infamous “Woooo” from the crowd. With his right hand grabbing the wrist of Jackie’s left, Defecto pulls his opponent out and delivers a devastating clothesline to his opponent before going to hook the leg.
Ref J. Grant: “1….”
Jackie easily rolls the shoulder up to kick out of the move, but Defecto wasn’t exactly hoping for the victory as much as he was the chance to force his opponent to use more energy. Picking Jackie up, Defecto pushes him into the ropes and goes to whip him off, but Williams rolls out of it before pulling Defecto in and delivering an uppercut that sends the masked man to the ground and powdering out of the ring, where Bryan greets him. Jackie tries to go out of the ring to get his opponent, but the referee stops him from doing so in favor of beginning a 10 count.
Ref J. Grant: “Get back in the ring Defecto… 1…. 2…. 3….”
Jackie decides that he has had enough as he goes to exit the ring, but Defecto pulls him out of the ring by grabbing his foot. Once on the outside, Defecto tries to whip Jackie into the barricade, but the man from New Orleans reverses and sends Defecto crashing into the steel barricade instead. Holding his back, Defecto uses the railing to hold himself up as Jackie goes into the ring, runs off the ropes, and goes to deliver a catapult plancha onto his opponent. But Defecto, with the help of Bryan, is able to move out of the way, and Jackie crashes ribs first onto the steel barricade. Defecto rolls back into the ring as the referee begins his ten count.
Ref J Grant: “1…. 2…. 3…. 4…. 5…. 6….”
Alex Cash: “Jackie going for high risk there, and unfortunately it didn’t pay off.”
Jackie slowly starts to move, and he manages to slide a limb under the bottom rope which breaks the count. Defecto is starting to feel like a shark in the water as he grabs Jackie by the arm and pulls him into the ring before delivering a quick neckbreaker. Rolling through, Defecto hooks the outside leg.
Ref J Grant: “1…. 2…. Thr….”
Jackie rolls the shoulder up just in time, and Defecto can’t believe it. Bryan also can’t believe it as he get places Defecto’s title underneath the bottom turnbuckle, and then goes to the other side where he gets onto the apron. As Bryan and the ref are distracted, Defecto goes over and grabs his Nevada State Championship, stalking Jackie as he starts to get to his feet. When he does, Defecto blasts him with the championship before tossing it to the outside. He goes for the cover as Bryan gets down.
Ref J Grant: “1…. 2…. Thre…..”
Just in the knick of time, Jason Cruze had jumped over the barricade and pulled Jackie out from under Defecto’s pin. Defecto looks over and sees Jason there, and starts to argue with him before Referee Jack Grant comes over. Meanwhile, in the ring, Jackie Williams is slowly starting to get to his feet when Bryan comes back in, with the title in his hand. He goes to blast Williams, but the High Octane One ducks under and delivers a karate kick to Bryan. Jackie begins to go after Defecto, when Claudia Deathstryke comes in from underneath the ring and turns Jackie around, before spraying him with the Dragon Mist. Defecto turns around with the ref to see Jackie trying to get the spray out of his eyes, but Claudia has already retreated to under the ring. Jackie backs up into Defecto, who lifts him up and delivers the Defecto Driver in the middle of the ring, for the first time ever in an NLW ring. He hooks the leg.
Ref J Grant: “1…. 2…. 3!”
DING! DING!
Asia: “Here is your winner, the NLW Nevada State Champion DEFECTO!”
Alex Cash: “Damn it! Damn that bitch Claudia for sticking her nose in matters that don’t concern her!”
Instead of the sound of “Pound of Flesh” playing, instead it’s James Bullet who comes out from behind the curtains with Referee Jimmy Weathers there with him. James whispers into Jimmy’s ear, before the new ref runs down to Asia and relays the message.
Asia: “Ladies and gentlemen, I have just been informed that James Bullet has issued this match be restarted with both Jason Cruze and Bryan Kennedy barred from ringside… and if Claudia interferes in this match, she will be stripped of her Queen of Queens Championship!”
Alex Cash: “Alright! That’s what I’m talking about, even the playing field!”
Bret Gamble: “What are you talking about? This isn’t fair at all.
Defecto and Bryan can’t believe this, but the crowd is going nuts. As the two of them start to argue with Jimmy Weathers, who is now the official for the restart; Jackie manages to get to his feet and up in the corner. Defecto drops his title and immediately charges Jackie, beating him into the same corner he’s using for leverage before Jimmy Weathers backs him off and calls for the new bell.
DING! DING!
Defecto pushes referee Jimmy Weathers out of the way, and goes back onto the assault, continuing with those right hands in the corner while Referee Jack Grant escorts everyone else to the back. Defecto whips Jackie out of the corner, only to turn him back around and deliver a powerful lariat. He picks Williams up by the hair and snapmares him before delivering a buzzsaw to the back, followed by a knee drop to the skull; and then he hooks the leg.
Ref Jimmy Weathers: “1…. 2….”
Jackie rolls the shoulder up, but Defecto pushes him back down for another pin.
Ref Jimmy Weathers: “1…. 2….”
Alex Cash: “Defecto looks to be very disgruntled after the restarting of this match… and it’s almost made him quite scary!”
Defecto can’t believe that Jackie won’t go down, so he gets up and grabs his own throat to prepare his Defected Mist as Jackie staggers to his feet. Suddenly, the lights go out and the entire crowd is left to wonder what’s going on. When they come back on, Damien is in the ring with Defecto caught between his legs. Referee Jimmy Weathers is warning him not to do it, but Damien picks Defecto up and delivers his Cousin Gracey finishing move, right in front of Jackie and the ref who now calls for the bell.
Asia: “Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner by Disqualification… Defecto!”
Alex Cash: “Well I don’t like how Jackie Williams was screwed out of his championship opportunity, but I do love how finally Defecto has been left with a taste of his own medicine.”
Bret Gamble: “Defecto may be feeling this in the morning, but he’ll also be waking up to a bye into the next round!”
Jackie can’t believe this as he was just cost his chance at championship gold as the bell rings and “A Kiss Goodnight” by Ross Ariffin plays over the PA System, as Damien leaves the ring. Jackie is still arguing with the ref, and Defecto is laid out as Damien looks at his carnage while backing up the ramp.
