Hey y'all I've been hanging around the forums for a few days, because I've been too lazy to introduce myself. So I'll do that now. I'm Kevin Hill. Real name. And Character name. Most just call me KHill. I run the UWL (United Wrestling League). It is an interfed that NLW joined this week. For those that don't know what an interfed is, it's an umbrella for several efeds that helps promote, holds events, and other various things. The UWL is one of the few interfeds out there that use the regional system. Think of the glory days of the NWA. 1950s-80s. Where feds tour a specific region or territory. UWL is unique for a few reasons. The biggest, is P.W. Syndicated, which is our own wrestling network. And no, not like WWE Network. I came up with this 5 years ago. In fact, a part of me thinks WWE ripped me off. P.W. Syndicated airs the Events of all the feds in the League. Each fed signs a contract to have their own timeslot for events to air. It also has original programming that I write, that are weekly shows, that you can participate in. We have championships to challenge for, tourneys, trophies, etc. NLW can have UWL Titles defended on their shows. If you have any other questions, just ask away. There's plenty more to find on the site. Links to everything is below. Feel free to join our Community Forums. Excuse the old posts, it's been a full year since we were last active. UWL WebsiteP.W. Yeah, I was in an interfed back in NEWA. I wrestled primarily for ICW, but did a few interfed shows, but didn't really like the staff of NEWA. I love the idea of an interfed because it allows people to really see what other feds have to offer. So is NLW a part of UWL or are we only being considered for the part?

Okay so, how does booking the UWL World, National, Regional, etc champions work? Is there like an area where a promoter can say "We want to book UWL America's Champion for our upcoming Supershow/PPV event." and then, if he/she isn't already booked, the fed head gets to book the champion? Or is the champion already on a pre-determined schedule?
And how does that reflect for match judging? Does a promotion's fed head get final say or is it more of a judging council?

Sorry on my phone at work so not logged in. Yes there is a Booking a Champion feature where NLW can host a title match. Its on the forums. Again I'm on my phone so I can't send link.
In those matches, while NLW hosts the match and writes the match, the UWL staff judges it.

OK to follow up...
The major titles - World, Tag, Ladies, American, and Jr Heavy, as I said above, there is a feature called Booking a Champion. The fedhead fills out an app on the forums, and we all have to agree on things, but that's basically it. The match and roleplays are done here on the NLW forums. The NLW match writers write the match, but the UWL staff still judge the match, and may or may not ask the opinion of the NLW fedhead.
I know that sounds like a raw deal, but trust me, doing this is great exposure. I give it a lot of hype on the P.W. Synd website.
Regional Titles are different. When they become active (there needs to be x amount of feds in your region to activate them), a fedhead doesn't need to go through the Booking a Champ app to book them. We are more flexible with those titles, and allow the fedhead and the champ to work together on it. We do ask they let us know. So we can hype it and whatnot. Also, the NLW fedhead would be trusted to judge the match. The UWL staff will read the rps and just kinda sit back and trust you guys to make the right call.

there are no champs crowned right now. We decided to vacate them all, after a year of being shut down. As for main page, it's like you're watching me, as I'm creating an image now lol

Curious, what's the possibility of inter-promotional rivalries. Like Team NLW vs. Team GIW themed matches/events? Or even NLW stars showing up to cause ruckus at GIW, and vice versa to feud between the two champions?
Or is that something better suited for the two efeds' promoters?

That's more up to the fedheads. We don't really interfere with what goes on in your shows, minus the UWL Title matches.

It could be both. Some promoters in the old days crossed between the NWA and AWA territories.

Ive been lucky enough to be apart of some of th emost successful interfeds over the years - NWC, NeWA, WfWA - and it takes a whole hell of alot to make them work, and to have a fed invovled in them work. I think I saw someone here mention they had been in the NeWA. so im sure they will back me up on this. The NeWA was one of the biggest collections of talented writers I have eve seen. It took alot of make all of that work with the cross promotional stuff, LEAGUE WIDE TITLES on top of federation titles. Being invovled in a interfed requires alot more story IMO, and you simply cant write two of them into one federation. I saw commit to the UWL - they look like they have the most going for them, and atleast they have a previous history of running and operating successfully.

... I agree lol. In all honesty, I don't mind you working with other interfeds. We don't "acknowledge" them, but we won't hold it against you either, as long as you're able to hold up to your responsibilities.
